Interconnection costs Deferred, Fixed Operator Can Use New Reference

According to official information Kemkominfo, Thursday (01/09/2016), delay this is because Telkom and Telkomsel had not submitted List Reference interconnection offer (RIO) to the government.

In determining the cost of interconnect B2b, the operator is required to submit DPI which is a document used to determine interconnection charges between operators.

The new interconnection fees amounting to Rp 204 announced by the government in early August through Circular Letter No. 1153 / M.KOMINFO / PI.0204 / 08/2016. These fees come into force on 1 September 2016.

"Given today is the September 1 is the validity period as stated in the Circular, the fee can not be used because the operator throughout the DPI has not been collected," said Noor Iza, Head of Information and PR Kemkominfo.

According to the government, the operators also welcome to use the reference costs in 2014 amounted to USD 250 in the DPI respectively.

Meanwhile, Member of the Indonesian Telecommunications Regulatory Body (BRTI) Legal Affairs, I Ketut Prihadi added that operators who have submitted DPI can still use the reference Rp 204.
